Daily fantasy sports development: How it works
- Accelerated feature requests can be built into almost any page on the site, including our NFL DFS Lineup Builder.
- All daily fantasy sports programming requests are reviewed by our team and approved or declined at their discretion.
- If approved, an estimate of cost, start time and delivery time are provided to the client.
- If the client approves the estimate, a 50% deposit is taken and we get to work.
- If we deliver within 10 business days of the delivery date estimate and per the client’s written specifications, we collect the remaining 50%.
- If we deliver within 11 to 30 business days of the delivery date and per the client’s written specifications, we provide a 25% discount.
- If we deliver after 30 business days of the delivery date, through no fault of the client, we update the estimated delivery date with the client’s consent or refund 100% of the deposit, at the client’s option.
- That said, we strive hard to hit delivery deadlines for our customers.
Things to note
- Accelerated features are added to the public-facing version unless mutually agreed otherwise.
- Daily fantasy sports programming is priced at $69 per hour.
- Features exclusive to one user are priced at $199 per hour.
- We reserve all available rights to and interests in, features, ideas and information that are disclosed to us without a mutually executed non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
- Intellectual property and usage rights related to code, algorithms or user interfaces that we develop remain the property of Imaginative.Online Inc., unless otherwise prevented by law. In other words, we do not own IP protected by a 3rd party patent or copyright, for example.
- DFS Hub’s NFL data is sourced from SportsData.io which is reliable and accurate in our experience, but we nonetheless cannot, and do not, warranty their data in any way.
- It is essential that projects be well thought out by the client in advance. Additional development that is out of the original scope (i.e., not in the client’s written specifications) will be estimated by us separately. Said revised estimates must then be approved by the client before we resume any work on the project.
- If the client approves the estimate, we bill 50% for the additional project work and resume development.
- If client does not approve the revised estimate, they can:
- Propose up to three alternatives within 15 business days, which may be approved or denied at our sole discretion. If we approve one of the alternatives, we will issue a new estimate based on the alternative proposed. If we deny all alternatives, the project will be terminated with 50% of any deposits forfeited.
- Advise us to terminate the project with no refunds provided.
- Estimates not approved within 10 business days of receipt by the client may result in the project being automatically terminated.
- Imaginative.Online Inc. is not obligated to add out-of-scope features that we did not agree to at the time of the original work order.
- Unless otherwise noted herein, terminated projects result in all deposit(s) being forfeited.
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, Imaginative.Online Inc. reserves the right to terminate any project for any reason at its sole discretion, with the customer’s sole remedy being a refund of any deposit monies provided to us.
