Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What scoring system is used for fantasy points?
Answer: Private challenges use a points per reception (PPRPoint per reception This is a DFS scoring system that awards offensive players (e.g., WR, RB and TE) one point for each reception. This is the standard scoring method of DraftKings.) methodology similar to the DraftKings points system.
(Please note: DFS Hub is not affiliated with DraftKings. Our free play contests are based on publicly available data.)
Question: Why don’t I just use DraftKings?
Answer: We encourage users to play on DraftKings.com when appropriate, but there are three benefits of DFS Hub’s Private Challenges:
1. For one thing, DraftKings is not available everywhere.
2. For another, Private Challenges let you choose the friends you play against.
3. DFS Hub private challenges give you the opportunity to hone your DraftKings skills with no risk while accessing DFS Hub’s exclusive analytics tools—again, for free!
Once you’re consistently winning, and if suitable for your risk tolerance, we encourage you to submit your lineups to DraftKings for real-money prizes.* For disciplined daily fantasy players who win more than they lose, DraftKings is where the real upside is.
Question: How many friends can I invite in contests using simulated DraftKings points?
Answer: When you invite friends, you’re limited to 100 users. (If you want to create a larger NFL DFS league, please email us.) Each player must be a registered user (free or Pro) of DFS Hub.
Question: How often are the fantasy points updated?
Answer: Every two minutes. Simply refresh your private challenge page to see the latest results.
Question: I got an error when trying to join a private contest. What do I do?
Answer: Make sure you selected the same slate in the Lineup Builder as the private contest you’re trying to join. If you need help, contact us.
